Most of our company surrounds the buildings dedicated to agritourism. Much of it has always been owned by the Brugioni family who, over time, has worked to ensure that the territory, in addition to creating an income, was maintained in the best possible way.
Proof of this are the various recognitions and diplomas received at state level by our family for the productivity and decorum of the company.
To date we have around 40 hectares of land including woods, meadows and pastures, managed under a completely organic regime since 1993, and from which we obtain wood for heating needs, fodder and feed for our animals, vegetables and fruit for us and our guests.
Among the animals we have beef cattle (selected Limousine breed), pigs, goats, farmyard animals (rabbits, chickens, ducks, guinea fowl, turkeys).
All our animals are raised in a state of freedom within their own stables and related enclosures. Plus we have several bee hives.
We grow all seasonal vegetables and various varieties of fruit including cherries, apples, pears, plums and two plants of raspberries and giant blueberries. From their transformation we obtain syrups, juices and jams that you can enjoy during our breakfasts.
The Agriturismo Il Cerro is located at approximately 1,000 m above sea level in the heart of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines.
